1. Considering the development opportunities available to you this year, how have you applied what you learned?
This year I have develop in many different ways. Not just in computer class but in general in almost all my classes I have been learning more and more. What I have gain throughout this year I will apply it next year, in my senior year. As a senior I have to do something called a copestone project and there is where I want to show and apply what I have been thought throughout this year.
2. What strengths do you possess that you can use at a higher level next year?
I feel that I can use my computer skills for my senior year and am sure it would help me to finish projects or in general both inside and outside school. I feel that I can pretty much use any program that has to do with Microsoft. there are still some juniors that will be seniors next year that still have not taken technology class and well that would put me in a higher level because I have finish with the class while they have not been thought what I have learned.
3. What obstacles must you work through so you can meet all your goals for this year?
I feel that I need to work on when I present something in front of a class or the audience I need to speak louder and give more eye contacted because I get really nervous. My classmates say you cant really tell am nervous but I feel it and it stops me from doing my presentations the way I want to really do them. With confidence and eye contact always with the audience.
4. Discuss what you have learned during the class and how it will assist you in achieving further academic and work related goals.
Next year I have plan on joining SGA and maybe I have to put what I learned to practice. Having this class I feel would help me out a lot because I would struggle less in my senior year when having projects or finals that involve using the computer I would struggle less and I could help others if they need assistance when working on a program on the computer.
5. If you could do any assignment over this year, which one would it be and why? Any regrets?
If I had the chance to do an assignment over again it would have to be “All About Me,” because it was just so fun to do. I’m best at using power points and for this project we had to use Microsoft power point and I did have to put my time and effort but I put my skills to work and I did my assignment on time I put my very best effort so I would say I have no regrets because my project really came out as the teacher and I wanted.
6. What are 3 words you would use to describe this class?
Awesome, challenging, fun
7. How did your computer skills grow or improve over the course of the year?
At the very beginning of my year in computer class I didn’t really know how to really work a computer and keep up with the teacher because I felt I was lost. But after a year in her class I feel that I have gain a lot. When I type I feel am good and steady. I have learn also how to use all the Microsoft programs to the point where I know what I’m doing. I feel I have develop good computer skills thanks to Ms. Johnson for having the patients with me as well as the class and thanks to her I feel I have improve in my computer skills!
8. What were your greatest challenges or lessons learned?
Learning how to use a simple thing as a computer was a big challenge for me. I’m really not in to technology so at first I had some trouble when doing my class work that involve using the computer. I thought a computer was just use to go on line, the internet but no it helps you out in so many different ways. I have learn to have confidence and to not say I cant or I couldn’t because everything in life is possible.

Blog Reflection: What do I want for the outcome of my project to be?
The outcome of my project is to spread AIDS awareness. HIV/AIDS is a non-discriminatory; it is blind to age, race, gender, or your living condition. It is an equal opportunity infection that knows no boundaries. The more you know about HIV/AIDS, the better you can guard your health. If you have HIV/AIDS or if you don’t know, you need to take steps to prevent spreading the infection. It’s your life and your health, protect it!!! Together we can all make a difference!

What have I learned so far about my topic?
AIDS can affect every body system.AIDS is the most advanced stages of HIV.
Many people do not develop any symptoms when they first become infected with HIV.AIDS is diagnosed after T cell counts reach a dangerously low level and blood tests confirm the presence of antibodies to HIV, indicating that the virus is present in the body. Symptoms of AIDS may not appear for like 5 years or more after being infected with HIV.

Why did i chose AIDS as my topic?
AIDS stands for Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome is the final stage of HIV infection. People at this stage of HIV disease have badly damaged immune systems.Humans probably came in contact with HIV when they hunted and ate infected animals. Recent studies indicate that HIV may have jumped from monkeys to humans as far back as the late 1800s. HIV/AIDS have spread throughout the world.Worst of all is that there is no cure to this deadly Virus.AIDS can effect kids, teens, adults,no matter your race,or color of your skin. you have to be careful and watch out for this deadly Virus. You can pervent it!How?Know your own HIV status and your partner's as well,Use condoms, correctly and consistently, and aslo limit your number of sexual partners.By doing this steps you can protect yourself and others. Most people think you can only get AIDS or HIV only if you are sexually active, but they are so wrong!True most people who get HIV is by having unprotected sex,but they are other ways as well as to how you can also get infected. You can get AIDS during pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, infecting drug, useblood transfusion with infected blood or an organ transplant.AIDS is so common now and days but i never would imagine someone so close to my family would have it. This was my main reason for picking this topic. Its hard having to live with this every single day.You have to be taken up to 30pills or even more everday. Most of my family dont really visit him thinking they can get AIDS as well. But the truth is that you cant! You can actually live with that person,go out to places, even eat from their food with out no worries!People with AIDS should not be discriminated for their illness!!!
